I have this problem with my hp omen laptop where if i put my speakers balance both on 100% ,The left speaker sound is too low compared to right one . However if i put my right speaker balance below 30%, Left speaker works pretty loud. I'm wondering if my problem is hardware since I did a clean install of my audio drivers.
Note: I'm running laptop without battery since it's expanded and i had to remove it.

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.
(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88001-88500/sp88001.exe
or newer
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92001-92500/sp92416.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.
Regards.
