My laptop all of a sudden lost most of its audio power. I have to place it at 100 just to hear something half decent. I've tried the solutions before, including a reset of my computer (lost all my apps, sigh...) and nothing. I updated the driver from the HP website, and my devices do not have the "enhancement" tab so no dice there. I bought this laptop on February, and I don't use it often, so I seriously doubt it's dust anywhere. Any help?
P.S. I did notice that the loss happened after I updated the Radeon drivers. I tried to backroll the update but no dice either. A=. Please help.

I also have a pavilion laptop (15-cw1005la) and noticed the same: sudden low audio, even at 100%.
I've lookup for issues in recent Radeon software version 20.5.1 but I couldn't find any... In my case, almost at the same time, I updated to Windows 10 version 2004 so I'm not sure if this caused the issue, also since the HP drivers page for this model does not appear listed drivers for the latest version of Windows.
I called HP support since my laptop is still on warranty and we did all the troubleshooting with no luck, in the end, they told me warranty only covers for the version of Windows my laptop originally shipped, so I might need to revert to the previous version of Windows to check if the issue is fixed.
Finally, I hope HP can release updated drivers for my laptop in the near future.
