Low headphone volume
10-22-2019 08:08 AM
I’ve a HP EliteBook 840 G4 (Z2V48ET#ABH) notebook. When plugging in any headphone, the audio volume is really low. When I reinstall the latest audio driver (sp95006) or restart the Windows Audio (Audiosrv) service, the audio volume restores to normal. But, when I restart the notebook, the headphone audio volume is low again.
It al started when I installed the upgrade to Windows 10 1903. As a work-around, I’ve made a .BAT file to restart the Windows Audio (Audiosrv) service. Every time I connect a headphone, I run the .Bat file manually to restore the headphone volume. I just can't believe that nobody is bothered by this? Does anyone possibly have a solution for this problem?
