Hi,

The volume from the onboard speakers is very low, headphones volume is fine.

The laptop was purchased without a hard drive, so I had to do a fresh Windows 10 install. I'm wondering if I'm missing drivers that HP included additionally to Windows as part of factory settings.

Hi@GOWI, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps below for the Audio issue

Re-install the Audio drivers -

1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.

2) Double-click Sound, video, and game controllers.

3) Right-click on the Audio drivers and click on uninstall.

4) Restart the computer.

5)update the BIOS ( Please make sure Adaptor or charger is connected )
