Hi, Following a windows update recently whenever the headphones are in use, the main speakers do not mute, eg they just play in parallel, so I can hear audio from the laptop it's self as well as the headphones.

 

I have done as much trouble shooting from my end but to no avail. Have tried checking all settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, and checked and installed any updates within "HP Support Assistant".

 

It should be noted that when you press the "Audio Mute" button on the keyboard, it no longer lights up either, but it will mute.

 

Any help will be much appreciated.
