HP Probook 440 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It is something strange since I installed the new version 5.7.4,
I have an HP Probook 440 g5 Laptop with windows 10,
since yesterday the microphone stopped working, it does not work with any microphone.
However, in the meet or with the OBS if any micro works correctly.
I already looked at all the recommendations such as seeing the windows sound option,
which must be enabled in microphone privacy and so many things that I have
seen on the internet and YouTube.
The truth is that I no longer know what the problem is.
But I assure you, it is not the microphone. Or some windoes configuration.
Everything seems to indicate that the zoom with the latest version
has brought a problem. And the funny thing is that with
a Lenovo another laptop that I have works well with the latest version.

Please, your help. I hope I am not the only one with this case.

You have to allow Zoom to use the microphone when logon/login.  similar to using video as shown:

You are talking about external source here. Without headsets, can you use internal microphone ? Please use troubleshoot to see what the system says

(a) Right click speaker icon,

(b) Select Open Sound settings

(c) Run Troubleshoot.

Regards.
