HP ENVY x360 13-ay0152ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.

I own my HP ENVY x360 13 now for a few days and stumbled upon a problem with the microphone that i can't solve myself.

Windows seems to not detect my inbuilt mic, the only thing i found in the device manager was an audio controller with a missing driver. I suspect that this missing driver is the reason why the system won't detect the mic, but i can't figure out which driver to install because it doesn't find one automatically.

Any suggestions?

@nydex

I can also see an yellow exclamation mark on Audio Controller too.  Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

   (a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
               https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105839.exe

   (b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
   (c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
   (d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Followed everything step by step, but the audio controller with the yellow exclamation mark is still there while there's no microphone under "Audio inputs and outputs".

Nevermind, installing HPs "AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver" fixed the issue. Thanks for your efforts.
