My audio stopped working overnight a couple of weeks ago and does not work at all, not through laptop speakers or headphones.
I've tried restarting, checked for updates for both my laptop and audio driver, and an audio diagnosis through HP. The diagnosis said there was no audio hardware to diagnose, so I tried to find an audio driver to install. However, I could not find any on the HP website for my type of laptop. I tried looking for the same name of driver through google, but it did not work the way I tried it.
I don't know what caused my audio to stop working, but I found the picture below, which refers to some requests to install a device. That may have been the night my audio stopped working. However, the Intel High Definition Audio in the picture below is not in the sound, audio, and game devices folder. I think it used to be in that folder. Any help is appreciated.
