Does anyone know how to disable the Bang & Olufsen experience when playing music from the headphone jack? The music sound is completely distorted and tinny. Even the HP Audio control Equalizer doesn't solve this problem and I am a hair away from returning the **bleep** thing because of this.

I use a good quality audio cable to a Yamaha amplifier and a pair of big Dali boxes, so that's not the issue. With my previous laptop (a HP Envy) this setup worked really well with a very rich and deep sound.

If the information matches, disable the Bang and Olufsen "experience" setting.

Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files\CONEXANT\SA3\HP-NB-AIO

Double-Tap / Open the Bang and Olufsen Audio software > SmartAudio3.exe

Click / Select Tab "Listening Experience"

Clear (Uncheck) the box next to "Audio Enhancements"

and / or

Check the settings for your Sound

Settings > System > Sound

Under "Advanced sound options"

Click App volume and devices preferences

Adjust as desired
