Hi HP Support,
I have a HP Envy Laptop, and the mute key is turning off at all, even how many times you try pressing the key to turn it off. No audio could be heard, through the laptop itself or with headphones plugged to the laptop.

Did you attempt to reinstall the Audio drivers?
Or update it from the HP website?

If the issue persists, I recommend you reinstall the Audio drivers using the recovery manager:
(by the end of this document, all the issues should be resolved)
