Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,
Does the fan make a loud noise, what pattern is the noise? Is it grinding, clicking, buzzing, or clicking noise.
Does the computer freeze or shut down after heating up?
Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?
If you're able to boot the computer then try these steps here:
I would suggest here is to update the Bios, and Chipset drivers on your PC from our HP support website, using this link.
Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
If the computer does not start then try these steps here:
You may refer to the steps suggested in this support document for - HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshooting No LED Lights Glow During Startup or Boot
If the LEDs blink, or the computer beeps, but it does not start, go to HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshooting LED Blink Codes or Beep Codes During Startup or Boot.
