My friends hear sounds from my laptop/Мои друзья слышат звуки с моего ноутбука

Hello. when i listen to music or play videogames and talk with my friends they hear every sound from my laptop.

I tried to reinstall windows and audio drivers i tryed to disable all sound devices i even tryed to use usb audiocard, but it still doesn't help me. How to fix that?

Я попытался переустановить Windows и аудио драйверы, я пытался отключить все звуковые устройства, я даже пытаюсь использовать USB-аудиокарты, но это все равно мне не помогает. Как это исправить?

I understand that you are having an issue with the audio. 

 

Do not worry. Let's work together and get this issue addressed.

 

I would suggest you turn off the Stereo Mix and check.

 

Go down to the audio icon in your system tray, right-click it, and go to “Recording Devices” to open up the proper settings pane.

In the pane, right-click on a blank area, and make sure both “View Disabled Devices” and “View Disconnected Devices” options are checked.  You should see a “Stereo Mix” option appear.

Right-click on “Stereo Mix” and click “disable”

Also, try to update the BIOS and check.

It doesn't work. Could this be due to the audio card or B&O software?

I understand your concerns.

 

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

 

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

 

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

    Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

     Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, ensure Windows is up to date.

 

Please let us know if you are playing the music from the speakers and you are talking to your friend through skype call. Please explain to us in detail.
