Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Newer laptop and allowed it to do all updates offered. After updates my audio was harsh and had no bass. I don't think I have eq control. Uninstall the new Realtec driver and went back to driver realeased 4/13/18.  Solved the problem. Should I try and new update? Actually happy now so I may leave things alone.

If anyone has this model is there an eq control panel?

@martyct

That probably due to Windows updates. Re-install driver should help. Please try

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

     https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92501-93000/sp92613.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.
