HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I have an HP Pavilion 15-cb0xx notebook with the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio hardware. I need to turn on the loudness equalization setting you find in the "Enhancements" tab you should be able to find in sound properties. Problem is that the Realtek driver doesn't have that "Enhancements" tab because, in theory, B&O supplies their own software for it. It doesn't: in the B&O app you can only tune the equalizator, nothing else.

The most common solution for this is uninstalling the Realtek driver and install the "High Definition Audio" one. But when I do that, Windows alerts me that my audio hardware might not work properly. And in fact, it doesn't: I get very annoying crackling noises.

What can I do?
