I have the same problem.  I have an HP Envy M7-N109dx touch notebook that's given me nothing but headaches from day 1.   There must have been a component conflict with the hard drive right out of the box... after lots of searching and reading so many people's posts that had the same problem, I finally just replaced the HDD with an SSD and its night and day, it runs like a dream.... BUT.... now I have no audio.  I've tried to install the "High Definition Audio Device" in place of the Realtek High Definition Audio and when I do the Audio is TERRIBLE.  It's really low and there is a constant HUM that comes out of the speakers.  Windows keeps wanting to update the driver and then back to NO AUDIO again.

I've looked up every thread on this issue.... and I've followed every set of instructions out there and nothing works.  I just want normal Audio coming out of my laptop.... is that so much to ask???  Can HP get this right and get this fixed!!!  I will never buy another HP again.... EVER!  So frustrating...

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
