I think I've done just about everything I can do. I have made sure the levels are up when I go to properties in the audio thing. Although when I have my hyper x headset connected, it doesn't work either and the level thing does not slide. I've done just about everything that it says to do when I looked it up. I am not sure if I'm doing it wrong or not, but I don't really know what to try now.

There are many possible causes of microphone problems, and these basic steps should help resolve the most common ones. If you're using an external microphone with an app such as Zoom or Messenger the problem could be due to the headset or the configuration of the app.

You may also test the audio jack/speaker to isolate the issue and understand if it's hardware. Click here
