HP Omen 17-cb1005na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So a load of Realtek downloads were pushed through via Windows Update this morning and upon checking the Windows Store app, a new version of OMEN Audio Control had also been installed. However, upon closer inspection I noticed certain settings missing from the last time I opened the app. Whether this change took place today or in an earlier version I cannot be sure.

The missing settings in particular are: HP Experience On/Off  and a separate equalizer for Voice, Movie and Music. All of which now are no longer there.

Is this an error or have they been purposely removed now?

Thanks

EDIT: To make matters worse, I uninstalled OMEN Audio Control but can find nowhere to download it from now. Apparently it comes as part of the Realtek 'package'. The latest Realtek drives for my machine on the HP Support site, are from July and won't install as they're no longer compatible with my version of Windows 10! This is probably why HPSA doesn't show as anything yet available for my device either. Guys, this is ridiculous. I didn't spend £2.5 k for a machine to have this much hassle installing basic drivers.

1) Keep your drivers section & HPSA consistently up to date

2) Make OMEN Audio Control a separate app from Realtek

3) Bring back the 'HP Experience' setting back to the app.

Thank you!

How to install back Omen Audio Control

here is the microsoft link of it ->>https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/omen-audio-control/9p5zf3qwzt2d?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Now you need to open to this link-->>https://store.rg-adguard.net/

Then you need to paste the microsoft store omen audio control link into the last link I gave you, when it is entered scroll down until you see the very last omen link which at the end it should say .appx at the end.

Now you want to right click and press open link in new tab and just paste the download onto your desktop if you want. When it's done just open it, and there will be an install option on the bottom right.  And you should have omen audio control 🙂
