Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand there's a sound delay during both online and offline videos,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Have you run the HP Support Assistant?

Have you done all your Windows updates?

Have you run the Windows troubleshooter?

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable?

While you respond to that, I recommend you download and install the latest Audio drivers and BIOS update for you PC: Click here to find and install.

Keep me posted,

@Riddle_Decipher thank you for helping.

I was in vacation so my reply is indeed late :Crying:

I had updated the audio drivers through the control panel procedure but that didnt work.

The solution was to update them through the hp program.

I should have figured it out myself :TongueOut:

Thank you again for helping keep up the good work.
