Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The sound on my Pavilion x360 is no longer working after the Windows 10 update.  I have tried to update the drivers but I have had no luck. Any advice?

That didn't solve the issue for me unfortunately, and its not saying 'No Audio Output Device'. It literally just stopped putting out sound on Friday afternoon, and I don't have the SST driver referenced in the solution.

I'm having this exact same issue. I also do not have the Intel SST driver and cannot use the solution that's given above.

Hi

Based on my experience, its the matter of compatibility issues. What I did was to clean install the audio driver from the audio vendor (with an assumption that you have reinstalled using HP driver) or the major step was to uninstall your updated Windows 10 service pack (KB instalation).

I hope your problems solved soon.
Best regards,

Bellmond
