Our dog jumped onto the seat next to the laptop, hitting the headphone's connector (the headphones were plugged in and caused a lever action), and caused the surface mounted audio output (headphone) jack to split into two pieces. What information, like commercial part number or detailed specs, can you provide on this piece of hardware? Even basic specs will help so I can order a replacement jack from either HP or a supplier like Digi-Key. I can't afford to replace the entire motherboard because of this, so I need to unsolder the broken jack and replace it with an equivalent jack.
Edit: Is it "Stereo (3 Conductor, TRS)" or "Stereo (4 Conductor, TRRS)" or something else?
