I have the Beats by Dre audio software/hardware on my laptop and it sounded great but all of a sudden, some months ago, the audio became very poor. It's quite tinny and very quiet. I feel like it may have occurred after a system/OS update but can;t say for sure. I constantly connect it to a bluetooth speake ror use headphones but it's becoming a pain.
I should've dealt with it right away but didn't. any ideas?

Hi @Pete Spectre,
Welcome to HP Forums! I have read your post and wanted to help.
I understand that the audio became poor. Please go to the device manager, and uninstall the audio driver. Download the most recent one from http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Spectre-13-3000-Ultrabook/5401166/model/7132239. Reinstall the audio driver and restart the laptop.
Let me know if it helps to restore the audio.
