Hi Paul,

 

I have this same problem occurring on 2 HP Elitebooks 735 G6 models upgraded to Windows 11 in December.  

 

Sound from Youtube, Spotify, netflix will play for an hour or two and then stop. A reboot will most likely get it back working but i have tried reinstalling Realtek drivers etc but no luck. Current realtek driver is 6.0.9215.1 and I tried upgrading to the 6.0.9254.1 you suggested for the Elitebook 745 but the sound stops working completely now so I have to rollback the driver to the 6.0.9215.1 version.

Is there any updated driver for the Elitebook 735 model that you know of?

If you have not done so already, the only suggestion I can offer, would be to see if the older W11 driver on your notebook's support page works for you.

 

This seems to be the Windows 10 driver, rebadged for Windows 11.

I have been struggling with my Laptop since December and I did as per your say, all good.
