Hello, after some Windows update few weeks ago my Realtek microphone dissapeard from device manager. Also the "F8" key does not control "mute..." Simlpy: microphone does not work. In BIOS is everything OK. I've tried everything possible, new drivers, old drivers, nothing works. There are plenty of people mentoing this same problem with HP notebooks on many internet forums, so I'm not the only one. HP Diagnostics Tool does not recognise the problem - logically, the HW is hidden in the system, therefore also HP diagnostic SW does not see it. Thanks for any help!
