Since full reinstall to latest Windows 10 (with HP provided disks) Conexant Audio quality horrible.

This is after taking several days to update because a previous Conexant driver prevented all updates past Windows 10 * H1.

Any sound played over speaker or headphones has consistent evenly spaces 'pops' or 'drop-outs.' On any other device the exact same audio or video is perfect. It only started after the recent sets of updates for Windows 10 * H2.

Can this driver be fixed or replaced? This is a fabulous notebook / workstation that now has crappy sound. I am editing and color grading digital film so this is catastrophic. Can you escalate it and fix soon please?

USB headphones work perfect so problem is definitely card / driver but all low level HP hardware tests say sound card  / system passes all tests. It has to be driver / driver conflict with recent Windows updates and it is documented that the Conexant drivers prevent various windows upgrades from completing. So the solution is delete the buggy software driver since no on in the community still participates and HP Support does not care? Even when I had full business level support for several years only the DreamColor team actually every solved any issues 😞
