I have got an issue with my sound. As soon as I try to load something sound related (games, youtube etc.)  that instance gets frozen, no sound is produced aswell. If I try to load the volume settings it freezes aswell. I have updated all my drivers but nothing is working so far.

 

As soon as I plug in my headset everything starts working again.

@robinibikini I recommend you update the sound card, chipset drivers and the BIOS: click here for details,

  • Do you have any third party codec pack installed on the computer?

Step 1: If you have any third party codec pack installed on the computer you may try to temporarily disable the codec pack or try to uninstall it and check if it works fine.  Later reinstall or enable the codec pack after checking.

 

Step 2: You may also run the Audio troubleshooter built in Windows 10 and check if it identifies any issues and able to fix it. Access the link below and follow the steps to troubleshoot audio problems: click here to troubleshoot.
