Sound no longer works

When the 1903 windows update hit it took away my ability to use my Realtek speaker (built into the laptop). I took it to a local computer repair and they told me HP has not released drivers that are compatible with my laptops speakers. I have updated and installed the latest drivers from the Realtek website and HP website. I even formatted my computer and  installed all the latest drivers. If HP could release a new updated driver for my laptop I would really appreciate it.

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

   (a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

   (b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
   (c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
   (d) Reboot again.
