Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Sound randomly stopped working from the built-in speakers. Built-in microphone also stopped working. I have opened sounds and made sure nothing is muted or disabled. Ran troubleshooter and it says nothing is wrong. I ran HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) Component tests for audio and the speaker works fine in that test. It seems to be a software issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all audio drivers. I have tried resetting sounds to default settings. Tried to rollback drivers but that option is greyed out for me. Tried loading Setup Defaults in BIOS Setup Utility. When connecting something through 3.5mm jack or HDMI the sound comes out fine. Just not with the built-in speakers. Worst part is I have no idea what caused it. It was working perfectly fine 2 days ago and then one morning just wouldn't play any sound. No major updates since then or- other new downloads or changed settings. I can continue to keep connecting headphones or speaker but I would really like to get this fixed as I know it's not a hardware issue.
