Envy x360 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this laptop for almost a year and over half a year ago i discovered a crackling/clicking sound which i ignored but it seems to be due the right speaker. When i start the laptop up and turn the volume up from mute the area around the right speaker in the laptop begins to create an audible crackle irrespective of the volume out of mute. The sound works fine as soon as the laptop is restarted for a few seconds but the volume of whatever i am playing drastically drops down for a while and can suddenly shoot back up for a few seconds and then goes back to dropping down whilst the clicking sound occurs at times. I have tried updating the BIOS, deleting and reinstalling sound drivers, updating the chipset etc but nothing has improved. i have also tried a hard reset and tinkered with some settings such as the audio enhancements and the setting which lowers the volume when a notification arrives but the problem still remains.

Is this a physical problem where i would need to send my laptop to HP for repairs?

The model of the laptop is HP ENVY x360 - 15-cn0000na

After trying both links  the problem still persists where the sound suddenly drops for long periods and temporarily shoots back up. The crackling tends to be constant when sound is being played through the right speaker with odd occurrences when the crackling sound is still produced when nothing is playing. And it's worth mentioning that nothing has physically harmed the device such as drinks or drops.
