Hello! I have recently noticed that my laptop speakers are malfunctioning. When I play loud, high-pitched sounds through them, the left speaker's sound is distorted by a disconcerting hiss. I suspect it is a hardware issue, as troubleshooting and the HP agent's suggestions did not help resolve the problem. Are there any ways I can go about fixing my speaker? The laptop is out of warranty, and I am currently living in a foreign country.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

I suggest you run an Audio Test and let me know if that works

 

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the Notebook.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. 
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and audio

 

If the issue persists during the Test please contact HP Support for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
