Same issues. Did all the troubleshooting as described. Still sounds awful.

Sounds like a transistor radio.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting the audio issue on your notebook.

 

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Provide the product number of the notebook or complete model number.
  • When did the issue start?
  • Did you run any test on the Audio devices?
