HP specter x360 13 ax2002 ( i7 11th gen)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have already returned 2 models of this laptop first one of the issue of crackling and static in audio from headphone jack and the replacement i got for it had a display defect.

The model i got now is also having the same issue as the first one:

Here's what i have observed till now:

1) There is static in every sound.

2) it only happens when playing stereo, eg: when there is music supposed to be played only in left ear, there is static in the right one and vice versa.
3) HP support driver download link is low and i cant download the audio driver to check (but from the experience with the first model the driver does not help)

It  still hasnt been resolved.
An engineer visited and called it a motherboard defect and ordered a replacement motherboard which is stuck somewhere in transit.

Since then i found that the issue is not just with the headphone jack but also the speaker.
if i play stereo audio and turn down the volume of one side to 0, when audio is supposed to be played through it , i can hear  slight sound and static form the other side.

Turns out it can be fixed by turning off the audio preset in bang and olufsen settings , but it re-enables itself within a minute.

When using headphones the turn off button is greyed out and the issue is permanently there.

I would suggest you contact the Onsite Tech once again and HP will arrange for the repair once again
