I have been using this laptop for a long time, and during the use, the operating system was automatically upgraded to Windows 11.
However, I recently discovered that my computer doesn't have a stereo mix (not that it's hidden, but that it doesn't exist at all in the recording setting).
After searching on the internet, I found that I did not install the "Realtek High Definition (HD) Audio" driver.
Therefore I want to install it, but the problem is, after the HP official website scans my device, the driver they provided to me is only for Windows 10. Although I still downloaded and tried to install it, an error was pop up and tell me that the operating system does not match (10 is provided, and I am 11).
I also tried using the HP Support Assistant to download driver, but after the first download it got stuck and crashed by itself I couldn't download it again.
I currently see in my device manager that I have the following drivers:
Intel Smart Sound Technology
NVIDIA High Defintion Audio
NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible)(WDM)
Realtek(R) Audio
So I'm wondering how can I install a HD audio driver that will work on Windows 11 and allow me to use the stereo mix? Thanks in advance.
