@Warthough, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To resolve issues connecting your AirPods to the HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 via Bluetooth, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled on Your Laptop:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

Check AirPods are in Pairing Mode:

  • Place your AirPods in pairing mode by pressing and holding the button on the back of the case until the light starts blinking white.

Add New Device:

  • In the Bluetooth settings on your laptop, click Add Bluetooth or other device.
  • Select Bluetooth and wait for your AirPods to appear in the list.
  • Select your AirPods to establish a connection.

Update Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager (right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager).
  • Expand the Bluetooth section.
  • Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Remove Previously Paired Devices:

  • If there are too many devices previously paired, remove unused or problematic ones.
  • Click on a device in the Bluetooth settings and choose Remove device.

Restart Bluetooth Services:

  • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  • Type services.msc and hit Enter.
  • Find Bluetooth Support Service, right-click it, and select Restart.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Check for and install any available updates.

Reset AirPods:

  • If all else fails, try resetting your AirPods.
  • Place them in their case, press and hold the setup button until the light flashes amber, then white.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
