Wanting to file a care pack claim but can't seem to find a place

I'm having issues out of my audio jack again and I need to report it a care pack claim.  It's actually super annoying that I have a care pack but am unable to find a place where I can use it.

Assuming HP knows about the warranty, you need not know the details. 

 

If you would like to check on it, use the Warranty check.

 

 

       NOTE:  If the single-system-check fails to find your device, use the "multiple devices" method to

check single or multiple devices.

 

  • If necessary, Select your Country on the main website page
  • Scroll down > To the right of Check multiple warranties, Click Continue
  • Enter the Serial Number and Countryfor one or more devices / systems to be checked
  • Check the box to verify you are "Not a robot"
  • Click Submit(at bottom of list entries)
  • When the page opens, Click View Details

 

 

Use the Serial Number of the device to submit the case to HP.

 

Provide an explanation of the issue and add that you do indeed have a Care Pack Warranty.

  2. Sign in or continue as a guest

Option:  HP Agent Response on the Forum

Thanks but it's a care pack so it won't show under a warranty search. I don't need to search the validity of my care pack but I need a place where I can file a claim. It makes zero sense how a business this big doesn't have a file a claim button for people who pay for the plans for this exact reason.

Sorry, no button as far as I know.  I have never used / seen a button to submit a case.  I have had and used Care Pack warranties on several notebooks, including the Zbook I am using at the moment.

 

Interesting (Unfortunate) that you cannot see the Care Pack details -- perhaps it is due to your location or another issue.  I can access the Care Pack warranty information for my devices using the method I described in my previous post. 

 

The Care Pack Warranty service is tied to your device.

 

If you try and are unable to open / create a case,

If you are able to open the case, but HP says you do not have the Care Pack,

Let us know,
