I am experiencing an issue with the internal speakers on my HP Envy x360 16-ac0xxx laptop. The volume icon shows a cross (X), and I am unable to increase the volume or hear any sound from the built-in speakers. However, when I connect Bluetooth headphones, the volume works fine and can be adjusted normally.
I have checked the Playback devices, enabled "Show Disabled Devices," and verified the speakers are not listed at all. It seems the internal audio device is either not detected or missing from the system.
I have also tried updating and reinstalling audio drivers without success.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? It appears related to the Cirrus Logic Awesome Speaker Amps hardware or driver.

Please try a clean install Audio driver
1. Download https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp158501-159000/sp158660.exe and save on your computer
2. Use Device Manager to uninstall audio driver (if any),
3. Reboot machine,
4. Install downloaded file above,
5. Reboot machine.
Hope this helps.
Regards
