Hi, Tom:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W7 audio and pci simple comms controller drivers from the HP Probook 450 G3.
This package contains the driver that enables the Conexant High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74001-74500/sp74370.exe
This package provides the Intel Management Engine Components Driver for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

it said it succeded but still my laptop is saying no audio output divise installed.. is the a changes there is a sollution or is the audio card the only thing not supported bij windows 7? I have also a issue with the windows update that keeps searching so I can't install the other driver becaus it is missing the kernell- mode driver framework 1.11.. also strugeling with that issue. a resset of the update program didn't do anything..

Hi, Tom:
Is there an Intel Smart Audio setting in the BIOS?
If there is disable it, and see if that gets the sound to work.
See this discussion regarding the Windows Update issue (which seems to be a widespread problem nowadays).
Do WAWood's steps first, and then do mine.

Hi:
There isn't a setting then because what you are able to see in the limited BIOS menu is all there is.
Did you happen to try the W10 Conexant audio driver from your notebook's support page?
If you have and that didn't work either, I'm afraid that you are going to have to go back to W10 if you want the sound to work.
