@Ibrahim_bm,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that Bang and Olufsen audio control panel is missing on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you uninstall the audio driver from the device manager and then download and install it from the below link.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Type "Device Manager" into the search field to open the device manager console.
  2. Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
  3. On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
  4. When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.

NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.

My computer:  OMEN by HP 15-dh0014nq

No hardware or software changes, WIN 1909

description: The laptop came with free dos, I installed Win 10 and it automatically installed the default Realtek drivers for me.

I tried installing the latest audio drivers over them (6.0.8813.1 Rev.A), it did not work. (Message I get: Waiting for 6-0 seconds, press any a key to continue ...)

I tried uninstalling Realtek with the Delete the driver software for this device option, it did not work.

I tried uninstalling the Realtek and the Intel Smart audio driver, still did not work .

I even tried unistalling and reinstalling the latest in safe mode, still the same error message. I downloaded the packed multiple times to make sure it's not corrupted.

There is no rollback driver option as it's the default drivers that are the "first ones".Untitled-1.jpg

Even if I try an earlier version, the drivers do not work. Sound output is ok, but I have no Bang and Olufsen control and DTX.
