In have a HP Laptop 15-bs 2xx and i am wanting to download some voice recordings that i have on a digital voice recorder. can i change the headphone port from OUT to IN and download recordings there?

Hi,

The port is already a combo port

"Headphone/line out and microphone/line in combo jack"

so you can use it ass a mic port or to import audio without changing anything.

Thank you David for your response. So if I go back to default settings I should be good. When I plug into the port I wasn’t given any options. Let me go back. Thanks again!!!
