Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have purchased a new laptop 15-ay107ne from HP.  From the first power up itself there is a contineous crackling sounds from the  right speaker.

 

Please let me know the reason for this.

I understand that you are getting crackling noise from the speaker. Happy to help.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

Do you get the noise when you use headphones?

 

Recommend you to make sure all the Windows updates are installed. 

Run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers updated.

Run an extensive system test to check if all the components are working fine. Click here for assistance. 

Once all the drivers are updated and the test passes. Check the audio quality with headphones, if the audio is clear with headphones, please contact our phone support for the service options.

If the audio quality is bad with headphones as well. Recommend you to run the audio troubleshooter from the control panel and check.

Returned the laptop to the shop and they send it to HP for checking the issue.
