drive headphones

Dear HP Commuity,

 

I was wondering if my Hp envy 17-j021nr Notebook could drive ohm headphones with out an amp

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you have question about connecting headphones to this computer. I will be glad to help you.

 

Please reffer to page 15 of Maintenance and Service Guide. Most standard stereo speakers, headphones, earbuds, a headset, or a television audio cable can connect without a amp. Be sure that the device cable has a 4-conductor connector that supports both audio-out (headphone) and audio-in (microphone)..
