i have read some posts where they suggested reinstalling realtek drivers to fix the problem. i have done that but the problem persists. also the enhancement tab is missing under sound

driver is too old. On my Omen, it is 6.0.8716.1 dated 28/05/2019.
Please try the latest driver for your machine. Please try
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp98001-98500/sp98141.exe

thank you very much for the reply. i have tried to install realtek using sp98141.exe but i have been receiving "the driver is not supported on thia os version". so i started updating my windows to the latest version hoping it would fix the problem. it did not and windows automatically installed realtek version 11/12/2018 6.0.1.8591.

Probably you have to wait for Microsoft and HP to work this out.
