Hi,

Depending on which is the CD, you can run

(a) Softare installtion CD:  Run Setup file,

(b) Normal data/files CD: Copy to folder(s) on your computer,

(c) Musics CD: Copy or "rip" to your computer,

 ......

What is it ?

Regards.

1. Insert the music CD into the optical drive.

2. When Windows opens the "autoplay" menu, choose "Windows Media Player".

3. W.M.P. has an option to "rip" all the tracks -- copy all of them to your computer.

You can choose to copy them in the original '.wav' (Windows Audio Video) uncompressed format, or to compress them into '.wma' (Windows Media Audio) format, that takes much less disk-space per track.

4. If it is a commercially-produced album, W.M.P. will search an online database, to find the "artist", and "album name", and individual "track titles".   Otherwise, you'll get 'track 1' and 'unknown album', unless you manually fill-in those fields before ripping.

Hi,

You can use media player. I would rip to mp3 and raise the quality from default to highest, or use lossless if you want high auality copy and are not worried about space.

There are alsk many programs online for better quality.

Anyway , here is a guide you czn follow fof your cds.

Hope it helps,

David
