HP Split 13-g210dx x2 PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I powered my laptop on after about a month, installed a couple of updates (just patches), and realized that I the output volume is now extremely low. I have tried all of the hp support suggested troubleshooting techniques (updating drivers and bios) and they still do not work correctly. When I open the volume mixer(pic 4) while audio is playing, I see that the volume meter is very low in contrast to how high the volume actually is.

I noticed that something had been deleted this

morning (pic 3). I did clean things up but did not delete any drivers.

I might add that works fine through plugged in headphones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi@riszo1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing low speaker issues with the HP Split 13-G210dx X2 PC.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Try doing Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
