microphone not working after installing windows 10
reinstalled idt : still problem persists
installed realtek driver HDA : still problem persists
delected upper filter in regedit : still no luck
kindly any help in this matter is appreciated

Thank you for the update. I understand that you would like to go back to Windows 7. When I checked the specifications of your notebook it came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. You would be able to do a recovery back to the factory settings . HP PCs - Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 10). If you are unable to do the recovery from the Recovery Manager, you will need recovery media. If you did not create recovery media, you will need to obtain a recovery kit from HP Support. Contact HP Support Fill out the online form and follow the prompts.
