and when the curzor is brought near to the volume sign, they show "no audio output device is installed" and when i click the sign they go for trouble shoot and reports "hardware changes might not have been detected".2.PNG

i tried to install sound card (high definition audio) for my laptop (probook 6460b).when installation was over, the audio problem was solved and when the laptop shuts down, the problem occurs again.

please help and reply as soon as possible

@SHARATH_ANANDAN

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer, (for Windows 7 32 bit)

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62501-63000/sp62585.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.
