Hi

My guess is that there may be no onboard speaker.

Could you give more details please.

Also what language / code you are using?

Nothing in the manual about it.

Actually I use PureBasic as programming language, which supports win api functions. I can play sounds using PlaySound(), also using vlc media player, but  beep_(freq, duration) gives no sound. everything was OK in my old laptop (running W7-x64)

Unless Beep play sound on a buzzer (separate from speakers) and this model don't have one.

Hi

"Unless Beep play sound on a buzzer (separate from speakers) and this model don't have one."

I cannot evoke any beep sound from mine either, so I believe it does not have an onboard speaker.
