I can't listen to music with my headphones.. i don't know what the problem is..

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.
- When did this happen? Did it occur after a windows or software update? Do you remember?
- Have you tried a different headset to isolate the issue?
- Do you hear sound from the speakers?
- Has it ever worked before? Please provide the complete model# of the unit to assist you better.
For now please try these steps.
Please check with a different headset by connecting it to the audio port.
Please check if the speakers work correctly. If the speakers work correctly the audio port on the computer may be faulty.
If the speakers work correctly and a different headset does not work, please try all the steps from this linkhttp://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04973149
