after windows update 1903  having sound payback and recording issues - driver required

Please download and install

 

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71886.exe

 

Probably you have to keep it elsewhere because it may break again next time and there will be no new driver from my understanding.

My HP Pavilion dv6-6c50ei Entertainment Notebook PC with Radeon HD 6700M graphics had no sound and was unable to record also. The drivers    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71886.exe  when the driver was installed I could here sound playing back. The microphone setting for an app i was using to record was off. turning it on resolved that also. Now my laptop speaker cuts off when I increase the sound volume. Can you assist with this please.
