Did the uninstall of audio devices, rebooted to reinstall and issue still persists.  Not sure what else to try.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the audio on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Is the audio working fine when you play YouTube videos or online videos?

Which meeting application you are using? Have you checked the audio settings on the application?

Meanwhile, I recommend you run the audio troubleshooter and it will automatically find and fix the audio related issues.

Here is how it is done.

- Launch Troubleshooting by typing and clicking “Troubleshooting” in Windows search.

 - Click on "Playing Audio".

 - Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I appreciate you reaching out to assist in resolving this issue.  I had previously applied the fixes you recommended--troubleshooter, etc.--and it didn't help.  I also uninstalled audio devices and rebooted computer for reinstall and that didn't work.  I found a website that had some "patches" to download, and those didn't help.  I uninstalled a 3rd time and rebooted and finally the static was gone.  So somewhere in the sequence of what I was trying, I got the right combo.
