HP Stream x360-11-p015wm
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

The old battery 'blew up'  We replaced  it with a new one and did not think we removed any other jumpers/leads.  We put in the new battery and the computer will not boot up.  We then Removed the battery and it will not boot up.  The battery seems to be charging with the charger.  Our guess is we are missing a jumper somewhere.  We have followed the trouble shooting guide with no success.

Any ideas?  Thank you

@JOTTO2

You said the battery "blew up" -- so I'm presuming that it did that while still inside the laptop, right?

That most likely caused other damage to the internals -- and the only way to determine that would be to take or send the laptop to a service facility to see if they will inspect it for damage and give you a repair estimate.

Since you live in the U.S., here is a link to the HP Service Repair Centers:
https://www.service-center-locator.com/hp-hewlett-packard/hp-hewlett-packard-service-center.htm

If that link does not provide you sufficient information, then use the main HP link:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true

I've found those links to be unreliable if you're using Win10 and the new Edge Browser; so if you are, you need to use something else, like FireFox.

Good Luck
